"GirlY sOngs"

Since I was a little girl,music has played a big role in my development as an artist. 

 My first experience with music was at my kindergarten graduation where I directed the graduation and took lead to the class songs as well (photo on the left), through the years I keep on singing in various chorus and took private lesson to develop my voice...




 My first experience with a big audience was at a county fair in my home town with my first rock band,  when I was fifteen. Then kept on taking lessons and obtained a minor in music while studying at the university. In 2006 recorded in conjunction with my boyfriend (now my husband) our first single. 
I keep on experimenting with various styles  from alternative, metal, power rock, until I fell in love with symphonic metal. Which is the music that is the muse that inspire me while  writing my blog post .

Symphonic metal is a overlapping of Metal music; with elements from Classical music and Opera. This genre was originated in Europe; it is a fusion of symphonic rock, neo-classical and progressive metal. Often this genre is lead by female singer. 

Imagine listening to a soundtrack of a action movie in it's paramount; where they often use symphony or metal music.

People in the U.S.A. are used to listen to commercialized music genres like Pop(Kate Perry), Rock, Hip hop(Robin Thicke), country, Latin, Dance/Electronic(Lady Gaga).  This genre of Metal it's not quite popular in North America, but still has a lot of followers. 

This bands are the most mentioned through the internet; as is the only way of knowledge about the genre:

• Epica
• Therion

• Delain

This list of songs it's called girly songs because all the band included here are lead by a female singer.

Here is the list of my own girly song (they are in spanish , they were recorded in 2006 and 2009 at Puerto Rico, spanish is the main language there) yep! that it me in the center of the stage.
