Polymer clay is a versatile medium generally used for making arts and craft items. It is also used in commercial applications to make decorative parts.
Creating with polymer clay is easy. Just shape and sculpt.
Although is has bit "toxic smell" for my preference. When is heated it the smell is not pleasant.
Some people use a separate oven to bake but I have double oven and one is dedicated to baking clay. another technique is to cover the piece with aluminum foil so the smell won't "come out " .
I open ALL my window and baking very early in the morning so the smell goes away by the time that everybody is at home; Set the oven and fans leave the room go outside to do gardening while is baking. When they come out of the oven the results are beautiful, they just need finishing and mounting .These trees are inspired in the tree of life.
There is a recipe for natural non toxic clay saw it somewhere on a website, will be using it as a trial for my pieces. then we'll see if the quality is about the same as the commercial.

A tree of life and love. This handmade polymer clay sculpture in grey white and gold is ten inches tall by nine inches wide, mounted on a twelve by twelve inches wood. Exposed bidimensional branches to fit small locks measuring one and a half inch. The trunk has a "latch" suitable to fit a Lock up to three and a half tall by two wide by three quarters of an inch deep
